Another one of my oldest sculptures—Pilla the Swampwalker. I think this one might be my favorite one. I think it gave me the courage to go forward. I mean after that structure I was ready for anything. I still think I might revisit it someday, but not just now yet.

I learned a lot from that, and I cast him for who knows how many years and painted him in many colors. This year, something changed, and I feel like it is time for him to retire. We will see how it goes, of course, I might miss him sooner than I think, but for now, it feels like a goodbye.

I wanted to show you the original Alie. I sculpted him in 2019 during my second year of sculpting, when I switched to polymer clay. Later, I remade it from scratch because I wanted to try my first mold.
