C doesn't have any. C++ has something else it calls decorators. Rust doesn't have decorators (coughing baby) thought it has attribute macros (hydrogen bomb).

Yeah, decorators can be really nice... I think they've got a bad rep in my mind because their usage in a project I worked on kinda sucked.
Besides being "neat," I'm not sure I've seen how powerful they can be though, when pushed to their limits...

Yeah, decorators can be really nice... I think they've got a bad rep in my mind because their usage in a project I worked on kinda sucked.

What's your thoughts on the (definitely more cumbersome/involved) attribute macros as in Rust? Would you consider them to be in the same category?

Apparently I was like this with reading. Was in a bus stop with my mum as buses came by then I just decided on that day to whisper the bus names as they came by and she was like "how the hell do you know that" and i was like "huh??? it's written on it!"
