I'm pretty sure the only way to fix US elections is to have compulsory voting for all eligible voters, free IDs issued to all voters, make election day a holiday/expand mail in voting, & implement ranked choice voting on a national scale. Unfortunately none of that will happen while lobbyists exist

If I may speak for Tyler, there's a difference between talking about the past (which Bernie does by repeatedly mentioning the war crimes Israel has been doing) & relitigating the past (trying to force hypothetical actions to occur after the time of said occurrence has passed)

Do murder laws work? I'd argue that any decrease in the number of murders indicates success for those laws. Are there still murders? Yes, no law is going to be 100%effective. But if there's no punishment for/prohibition against murder, then we'll have more murderers. Same goes for Nazis/Confederates

It kinda seems like we could outlaw Nazis & their ideals here & get similar results to Germany?
Right now we seem to be stuck at "we've tried nothing & we're all out of ideas" in regards to the rise in Nazi sentiment

This allows Germans to be informed about their history w/out letting them celebrate the Nazi part of that history. The US has no such laws regarding the Confederacy, so display of Confederate battle flags is permitted. Germany doesn't have people celebrating Nazis (w/out consequence) but we do
