Another weird dream. Somehow it went from time Travellers fucking around with World War 2 to a surprisingly thoughtful and emotional consideration of people trying to find meaning ina world where both death and want have been conquered, examining lives spent over hundreds of thousands of years.

This is the thing that drives me insane. Things aren't normal; this isn't politics as usual. And when you accurately describe everything this administration is doing, it's so lawless, radical, and authoritarian that *you* sound like a partisan extremist.
seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous
