I realized I had Ghirardelli peppermint bark squares and a microplane, so I leveled up my hot cocoa to near-Flanderian heights! Sitting by the tree and presents (all from my husband - mine are all still in the shipping boxes 😖), it made such a cozy evening!

I just (re-) listened to Chapter 9 of System Collapse and wondered when I would have occasion to use this Murderbot quote. Turns out it was about 12 hours.

I’ll start: Scare Me (2020) is basically just people telling each other scary stories in a snowbound cabin, but it does so much with sheer acting chops and tactical sound/lighting/camera work.

My vibe can be hard to pin down, because I will say Ligottian shit like, "As a child I found the concept of eternal afterlife terrifying; existing FOREVER? That's fodder for complete madness" then follow up with "I love my new rainbow Crocs! Also, planning to bake some cookies for Christmas!"
