Honestly the amount of bullshit I'm subjected to on the other app is sometimes too much. The amount of grifters confidently talking about things they know nothing about is so frustrating

This is the first time a FFXIV patch comes out and I'm not in-game as soon as possible. It feels kinda wrong but at the same time, I'm very burnt out of the game and the current content being released doesn't interest me that heavily, so I guess it's a normal reaction?

I woke up to news from the forums.
The #ffxiv did in fact try to implement natural curls but had trouble. they won't give up on trying to make textured hair work
Just knowing they won't give up on trying to make curly hair makes me glad.
I was afraid they would stop trying after this.

I hate the Wuk Lamat discourse so much, because as someone that has problems with the character, I hate how loudly people hate her for the stupidest reasons possible. Like that the WoL isn't the central focus of the story, or that they "babysit". That isn't the problem!!

When ffxiv's worldbuilding takes us to near scientific levels of specificity in how aether works and the history of the world, it makes me wish we had something similar for job skills.. the lore book almost does this by explaining 3 random job actions from each job in their entries, but I want more.
