Splicing fibre in a field being watched by a very curious sheep.

Restless legs medication is one of life’s little ironies. They all have terrible side-effects some of them are addictive and some initially work but then make the symptoms worse and guess what? You can’t stop them straight away due to withdrawal symptoms, effects. And RLS itself is a living hell.

You selfish knob.

I have recently been using Aliexpress to evaluate some cheaper Chinese versions of the cripplingly expensive (£5K and upwards) fibre optic test equipment we use at work. You can buy pretty much anything from there. Including x-ray mammogram machines. 😵‍💫

My car, just returned from the garage after 356 days(!), seems to be very confused. The remote app thinks it’s offline because the car hasn’t been driven for more than 4 days, but won’t let me change any settings because it thinks I’m currently driving it. It also thinks it’s still in Cambridge. 🙄

I figured it was a good idea to actually get some proper training on fibre installation rather than just winging it, especially with my role.

One thing I like about Eastbourne is the coastal setting provides for the most wonderful photos, particularly at dawn. I took this one on a cold morning exactly a year ago outside the View Hotel at 7:49am.

Last time I shared this photo, no one believed it was taken in the UK. 🤷‍♂️

I'm sceptical that Eastbourne is the best location for stargazing in the UK. I can't say I've ever noticed the amazing clear skies from town, but the fantastic Herstmonceux observatory is only 10 miles away.
