(Except of course there is no next thing because they have been too busy tapping existing properties to develop new ones )

The problem is late stage capitalism only cares about short term profits so the idea of letting a property take a rest is utterly anathema to them. They'd rather tap a property until it's completely out of juice and then move it on to the next thing.

The answer is simple: you don't. You let the franchise rest for a while, then come back with fresh eyes in a few years and try something new. Maybe campy Bond will be right for the zeitgeist. Maybe it's back to low-stakes stories of actual espionage. Maybe it's a period piece.

I ordered the Milton Berle but it was just too much meat to finish in one go.

I understand that PRT has a difficult thankless job, and that with public transit having an existential crisis right now they have other priorities.

But boy do they go out of their way to make it easy to hate them.

What info is provided is frequently in a code that makes little sense to anyone who doesn't work for PRT, or so vague as to be functionally useless.

You can't, because it's not there. Not under schedules, not under rider info, not under detours, not under news.

They only post this info over on the Nazi site, where it is hidden behind a login. Or on the "TrueTime" app behind another click.

None of this is obvious from the web site.

Nothing is going to bring back the joys of peak Shibuya-kei but the soundtrack was also just fine. No real standouts. Could probably just mute it and listen to the original.

Definitely diminishing returns for sure.

At some level It's "more Katamari" and I am fine with that. If you can get past the annoying early levels it's fine. And there is some novelty in rolling around various eras of history. (Even though it feels like a good 50% of the levels are set in Edo).

Guess how big this Katamari should be! Only roll up fish! Complete a series of timed challenges, which you may have already screwed yourself out of completing!

No one wants these game modes.

Biggest. Fastest. That's it.

And Katamariball can suck it.

Also, their bizarre commitment to a two decade old save mechanic and user interface is baffling. It's the year 2025! Why does this game still need manual saves and mid-level loading screeens?

What's going to test me is Jeremy Renner acting in a movie series where Jeremy Renner the actor (and hot sauce connoisseur) canonically exists.

The dangerous part of this confession is the implication that you actually liked CADDYSHACK 2.

Again, banks, why do you keep lending to people who ostensibly have billions of dollars? Make them pay for their own shit for once.

The other option is he wants to still be public but retain almost all of the stock or himself... In which case the stock price will collapse because in that scenario what's the value proposition?
