Sounds like them prepping a case for "we were expecting this, he was suicidal".

They're not done shredding the incriminating parts.

Me too. I love the character, he's hilariously entertaining. 🤣
I didn't enjoy the second movie as much as the first, but I've heard really good things about the new one, so I have high hopes.

> Why?

Oil.

The whole fentanyl thing is bullshit, it's the 2025 version of 2003's WMD, made up to manufacture justification and public consent for a war that's really about oil. Of course, in this case he's failed to manufacture consent, but he's going to unilaterally send us to war anyway.

"Tragic" in this context is spelled "comedic".

He hated playing James Bond. The shoots were extremely stressful, and he didn't get a much out of playing the character, who's kind of one-note. He finds playing Benoit Blanc more fulfilling, and *way* more fun. And I know there's nothing surprising in that, it's obvious just from looking at him. 😆

Really, now. ROFL 🤣

Went googling, found some space marines painted in Hello Kitty pinks, but this was a step beyond... 😉

When I lived in NYC I used to really appreciate all the street vendors who sold compact umbrellas for $3. I used to buy Totes for $20 or $30 apiece but I stopped, 'cause all I do with umbrellas is leave them in cabs, subways, theaters. I just accepted the $3 ones as effectively single-use items. 😂

> Have you read The Silmarillion before? Why or why not?

Twice. In some ways it's actually my favorite Tolkien book. I always loved mythology growing up, and I really enjoyed the slightly distant, epic-scale storytelling of the Silmarillion.

I think Peter Jackson could do a banging version.

To be clear, I don't feel at all sorry for those assholes. Those pretend journalists have betrayed their country.

But just for a moment - can you imagine being handed the job of making that gross, idiotic, belligerent slob look good? 🤣

Ohhhh, 36%. It's getting down to *just* his MAGA moron base.

I have an acquaintance who is a workout and health fanatic. He only eats whole foods that he preps himself, no sugar, no candy, etc.

His *only* indulgence is that every year he buys 3 large Costco pumpkin pies, and eats them all by himself between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🤣

He has said so, directly and bluntly. 😉

I have the same superpower, although I think a lot of times it's the voice that tips me off.

I actually kinda wish I didn't recognize people so easily, because it takes a superhuman effort of will not to inflict this knowledge on whoever I'm with, and often I fail my saving throw. 🤣

I remember one day I picked up my kettlebell and did my rows, and it seemed SO GODDAMN HEAVY, and the rows kicked my ass. I was like WTF's even the point of working out?! Just when I finally felt I was getting somewhere! I hate this shit, ARRRGH!

Yeah... I'd picked up the next heaver kettlebell. 😂
