Yes, we also just buy some great different bacons of the world and fry them up (British /Irish rashers, some local smokehouses, etc).also, a great excuse that make bacon stews/soups. I discovered feijoada this way. We have that every year.

The only requirement is that all attendees bring a homemade dish to pass that contains bacon, as an ingredient. We've even had some bacon desserts show up. Yeah, food is isolated in the buffet style kitchen with wetnaps... lots of wetnaps 😁
