And who’s next? Gays? Women? are you stating where your money is coming from?

I tend to regard intelligence as realising how little you know, and at least having the interest to ask questions.

I get that, just he now has a court case to confirm he can carry on. Whereas if he had lost would he have thought about the consequence?

would you really launch that just before a General Election, just as people get to see their pay slips and the changes?

Trumps "peace" deal is working well then.

You could argue Motobiltiy is corporate welfare. So many of these schemes subsidise private companies.

What’s the saying, best time was yesterday, second best time is today. Just because it hasn’t happened is no reason to just give up.

How would this apply if you’re based in Gibraltar? I have no issue with the idea, just wondering About the real impact.

As a driver of a PHEV Golf, petrol is far cheaper than charging away from home today. Though driving it IMO in electric is a nicer experience.

I just don’t get the pension bit, yes it raises money but most people aren’t saving enough. How does this help? I also note effective 2029, which is about the latest a GE can be called.

And the single way Reform can be beaten is to make voters feel richer. There are serious obstacles to joining, but that shouldn't rule out trying. There are also options that don't involve joining that would realign the UK. But the UK government seems to have given up and is simply chasing Reform.
November 24, 2025 at 8:18 PM
I am just of the opinion that Labour were idiots to rule anything out. See also how they are handling the current raising tax fiasco. The UK was in a hole, is in a hole, no options should be off the table.
November 24, 2025 at 7:54 PM
No, there is no rejoin, there is the option of looking at join, looking at what options exist around single market, EFTA, etc. Nothing should be off the table, no red lines.
