Introducing a tax change around pension savings in 2029, isn’t the last date for a GE in 2029? Is this suggesting an election before hand so the government doesn’t actually have to deal with any fall out? Or are they going that crap pension savings will be someone else’s problem to deal with?

Belgian farmer Hugues Falys is suing French oil major TotalEnergies, claiming it’s destroying his crops through climate change.

If he wins, the case could set a powerful legal precedent — and open the floodgates to similar lawsuits across Europe.

The UK is a strongly pro-choice country with 86% of Britons wanting abortion to be legal in all or most cases. But the US anti-choice movement has been investing heavily into campaigns in Britain, and Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party seems to be support the interference.
The worrying rise of US anti-abortion rhetoric is in full force - how deep is Reform UK's involvement?
Money is pouring into anti-abortion campaigns in Britain, and it seems Nigel Farage’s party isn’t pushing back…

So the government thinks that scrapping subsidies for heat pumps is a good idea, how many people who aren't rich will be able to cover the costs without assistance. So all the Labour Party is achieving is ensuring gas keeps on being burnt. Congratulations! So that's bikes and now heat pumps, next?

If gave you €1 every second since you were born:

You would have €1 million within a week and a half.

You would have €1 billion by 32.

You would never have €1 trillion. Generations upon generations after you would not reach €1 trillion. Because it would take over 31,700 years to reach €1 trillion.

Interesting how gov is hinting on increasing costs of running electric cars, be interesting to see what happens to the stalled fuel duty escalator. Considering electric cars cost more to charge if you do t have a home charger. And yes something needs to be done to cover the lost duty generally.

Any time anyone starts talking about taking us out of the ECHR, ask them two questions:

1. Which of these rights don't you believe in?

2. What exactly would you replace it with. And don't take any vague promises like Brexit benefits.
