This month, Joana Cavadas, PhD student at ITQB NOVA, had the exciting opportunity to attend the EMBO | EMBL Symposium: The Human Microbiome.

Last month, Ana Botelho, PhD student at ITQB NOVA, participated in the Gordon Research Conference on Staphylococcal Diseases. She presented a poster entitled ‘Divergent host interaction profiles of the two major S. epidermidis lineages during skin colonization’.

On 22-24 July, #MPS_NOVA held the Training Workshop Pluripotent Stem Cell Basics, hosted by our partner #HumanTechnopole.
The event brought together researchers and students for three intensive days of theoretical and hands-on training on the cultivation and preservation of hPSCs.

On April 2nd, Pedro Pedrosa, Head of Innovation at ITQB NOVA, visited the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin as part of the MPS_NOVA EU Twinning project. The visit focused on learning from MDC’s Innovation Office to enhance innovation at UNL.
