Same. Writing (for others) is my day job, so when it's just for me I don't want it to feel the same--like an obligation or burden--I want the joy to translate to the page.

Primarily horror, some sci-fi & fantasy. Published in magazines, anthologies, and a podcast. Also have 2 story collections.

Goal is to not go another 4 years between collections! 😜
