Half-Drafts were the BIGGEST change I made last year while teaching writing.
1) They decreased anxiety
2) Improved my feedbk
3) Resulted in better quality of writing

At #NETA #NETA24, I learned about how to set up a helper AI for my writing students using School AI. Several of my students have been using it for immediate feedback and then making revisions. It doesn't eliminate my own or peer feedback, but another tool for their toolbox #iteachEnglish
