Last night I went into our local McDonald’s to get everyone something to eat. I know I shouldn’t have gone to McD’s but it was 10pm and I was exhausted. Anyway, I was literally shocked to find that people who a month ago were still supporting Trump had done a complete 180 turn-around!

Last night I went into our local McDonald’s to get everyone something to eat. I know I shouldn’t have gone to McD’s but it was 10pm and I was exhausted. Anyway, I was literally shocked to find that people who a month ago were still supporting Trump had done a complete 180 turn-around!
Of course there isn’t anything to find. DHS’s purpose was to generate a situation where they could film for future propaganda, not that there was anything there that warranted law enforcement action. They got the footage they wanted. They don’t care (Rule #1) who got hurt
NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Removing a monument honoring Black US soldiers has nothing to do with DEI. It’s erasure of history and it’s straight-up racism.

$500 million seems like a small number compared to the total amount that appears to be missing now. Where did the rest of the billions or even trillions of $$$ go? Has anyone started a spreadsheet to account for everything, e.g. $ from Treasury, $ appropriated by

Trump has threatened to sue the BBC because about an hour was edited out of his speech on J6. When I think about Trump’s typical speeches I wonder if that makes any real difference or not. Trump himself has admitted that he “weaves” many threads of thought together in his speeches.

I’m not sure that replacing the Democrat Party with another party is what we need. We need elected representatives who actually do their job. Neither the R’s nor the D’s have had that for far too long. R’s wrap themselves in the flag and lie. D’s appear to cave. Neither is working! Vote ‘em all out!
Very much in a ‘burn down the Democratic Party and replace it with a progressive party’ mood. Annoyingly there’s no way to practically do that in our system without conceding the nation to fascism, so we need to stage a total takeover from within somehow.

A good point was made about Jon Ossoff earlier. He has been someone who has consistently supported his constituents and democratic values. What we need to do is start compiling all the details of every representative’s record of service so that we don’t “throw the baby out with the bath water”.

D’s cave as easily as TACO. This is not being “centrist”. This is not having a center, a set of core values you truly stand behind. If done then every representative (D’s and R’s, House and Senate) must feel the wrath of voters just as we feel the pain and suffering from their votes on our backs.

People need to understand how all this works beyond simple transactions. When Americans don’t have healthcare but get sick or are injured they go to ER’s. By law and morally ER’s have to treat anyone who comes in. Most of us have insurance that

At least they FINALLY admitted why they refused to negotiate on the shutdown. First they lied and promised Dems they would “negotiate” this, but only AFTER they voted for the CR. But Dems were correct when they assessed that Republicans NEVER intended to extend these subsidies.
