This morning - was pretty angry that the 77 bus wasn't coming for 30 mins, but, while I was walking down Mass Ave, I managed to see a bald eagle 🦅 so...day made!

Big news, my dear friends, #uglydogs! Rio was sprung from his cell (actually a cozy vet hospital bed) today!!! He's home, with a lot of meds, prescription food, puppy pee pads and a cone of shame. He's home a day early, which is great because the hospital bill will be a bit lower.

So I am still undaunted, but tired, and will lean into hope that some time soon I can enjoy a more stable, less complicated time of life. With my dear Rio, and my weird-ass giant cat Jasper, of course.

Rio is out of surgery, and they removed 5 kidney stones. could have complications but he is resting comfortably at the vet hospital. Honestly the two surgical vets saved his life.
Grateful to friends who helped today and the #uglydogs . Hoping his recovery will be smooth, he is my ❤️dog.

To my #uglydog friends - please send good vibes prayers, we are at the emergency vet right now. Our dear Rio has a urinary blockage, it looks like emergency surgery is needed. We all are very stressed.

Pewabic Pottery was mind blowing. Started in 1903 by Mary Perry Stratton and her business partner, I reflect of the role of the artisan worker who build significant parts of the grand ideal of the US. The Guardian Building is well worth a visit, a preeminent example or American Art Deco.
