It's been great as just a second monitor as well. I put mine on a large hydraulic swing arm for easy positioning.

Keep an eye out on their site around black friday and through the holidays. I was able to get mine a couple years ago for ~US$300, on sale down from US$499.

It has 8192 pressure sensitivity, IPA 1080p with near-zero ghosting, accepts tilt controls and the software is incredibly easy to configure.
