We have water in basement from it raining 8 inches while we were gone, potential drain problem with AC, it rained 2 inches today, & going to be 100° heat index all week. Welcome back from vacation I suppose

The problem with being a non Disney vacation where there is a lot of dogs around is you find yourself missing out own dogs way more & wanting to pet every dog you see

Feels like a fever dream- on one hand I went to stock us up on supplies & non perishables in case there are supply chain issues due to tariffs. But then I'm also trying to figure out our logistics of planned trips for remainder of year with caution. So confusing

Went to a town hall sponsored by locwl NPR tonight featuring my congress rep all about what the federal government is doing. I'm sad not a lot of people our age there mostly boomers but I get it with kids. But I'm begging you even if you have kids please pay attention & speak up- it's crucial

After finishing season 1 of The Pitt is really reinforces how much we owe medical professionals- especially in a world since Covid has started- I'm just so sorry that so many people don't believe them or science anymore

Teenage puppyhood is not for the weak- today he has eaten part of a used dryer sheet (seems fine), tried to eat other things around house, & made me pull over in sketchy area while driving because he grabbed a package of black beans from groceries in front seat from the back despite being buckled in

The best doggies ever are happy to have us home. They did so good with our house sitter. Bruno turned 6 months yesterday & was the best puppy ever for our first trip away from him 🥺

I'm the dumb person who left my AirPods Pro in back of Southwest seat- realized it at luggage. Thank goodness for find my function on Apple to see them & to the amazing Southwest agents who helped track them down & get them to me within a half hour.
