I hope you have fun though and if you end up not loving it that's ok!! me personally I just accepted PKMN is peak imo and I'm trying other games entirely like ENA & Undertale (after playing Deltarune and enjoying it) and I'll probs look into others soon :3

oooh I'm glad someone else had a similar experience!! usually I see ppl who are into a lot of things and perhaps both into PKMN & similar things and I'm like...how are u not overridden by nostalgia lol...it's awesome some ppl can appreciate diff things but I struggle😭

I alsotried playing Yokai watch back when it got released but that's p much how I feel about it too unfortunately 😭 but of course if people like these I have nothing against it :3 some of the fandoms look fun too augh

Im not fond of them not because I dislike them but I think just cause of nostalgia; grew up with pokemon so every other franchise that tries/tried to do the same thing doesn't feel the same :( which is a shame cause I'm p sure digimon for example has stuff to offer but I'm picky (⁠･ั⁠ω⁠･ั⁠)

I always wondered that too tbh and itd be weird if they just built and did stuff off of vibes alone like I'm working on that in my AU bc not even architecture is delved into for some fuckass reason
