From the few second gen characters I got before I dropped the game, they definitely have more personality! I’m assuming in part because they didn’t have to worry about making them able to pair with everyone.

I like to think that Soren is going above and beyond for the beast tribe so that when the war is over he can be like, “Okay, your bill is $1,954,732,286” and watch Ranulf almost go into cardiac arrest lol

Yeah! I’ve heard some good things about the direction the story takes with Robin, but the characters just don’t feel like they actually exist within the world. Tellius ruined me by being my first FE with how tightly written all of the characters were lol

Don’t get me wrong, I like some of the characters in Awakening, but there’s so little to expand on with them since they had to make them kind of one note character tropes in order to make support convos between all of them. I require DEPTH.
