I think people would enjoy both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest better if they stopped comparing them and realized they both serve very different roles in the RPG landscape. Final Fantasy tells stories, Dragon Quest tells fairy tales, and both are vital to the art form for different reasons.

I think people would enjoy both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest better if they stopped comparing them and realized they both serve very different roles in the RPG landscape. Final Fantasy tells stories, Dragon Quest tells fairy tales, and both are vital to the art form for different reasons.
