We drove up to Bubión on the north side of the Alpujarras valley in Andalusia today. Last time we were there was 26 years ago. Still recognisable, but obviously much better off. Much more tourism now. On the one hand, sad, but better for the people who live there.

Probably going to get blocked for this, but this is just one of my two main mailboxes. The other one only has half as many.

The map by population is a better representation of the vote. The one showing municipalities looks much more Trumpian. Land doesn't vote, after all.

Jorge Martin has had a checkup on the collarbone he broke at the #MotoGP race in Japan. He has full motion back, but the fracture isn't fully healed yet. He'll have another check soon. I suspect he is hoping to return at Valencia

Great news on Noah Dettwiler. No longer listed as critical. Still a very long way to go, but this is a really positive development

Again, looks like PVV has a strong base but a low ceiling. D66 and PVDA look like they could be strong.
Read the rest of the report and PVV is on a strong downward trend

This to me was the most interesting chart:
PVV looks to have a fairly solid floor, but a much lower upside. And it is entirely possible that we could end up just squeaking a 3-party coalition, either GL-PVDA/D66/CDA or (less likely) D66/CDA/VVD.

Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's a Ducati Panigale V2S

From Ducati:

Marc Marquez has had surgery on the shoulder he injured at Mandalika, because the bone he fractured wasn't stabilising with immobilisation.

Jorge Martin has had successful surgery on the collarbone he broke in the sprint race at Motegi. He won't race in Indonesia and won't be replaced

Here's what Marc Marquez needs to do to win the 2025 #MotoGP title on Sunday at Motegi.

The tl:dr; version is that he needs to finish second, or no more than two places behind Alex Marquez. Realistically, he just has to finish. Hard for Alex to finish ahead of him starting 8th

Ducati tracks parts with incredible precision anyway. Each part is numbered and logged each time it is used to track mileage. So it is not much extra work. Zoom in on this and you'll see a serial number and a production date
