I guess I would just say that "no AI" is presently a useful shorthand for all those things you suggest! "you must understand the code you are writing" + "you must prove you can follow rules" + "show you understand the context of our app" + "you must provably own the code you wrote" etc

Some friends and I have been reading "The Count of Monte Cristo" (Alexandre Dumas, 1844) on Discord, using a bot to replay the chapters to a thread at the same cadence they were originally serialized in the newspaper. We've been at it 5 weeks... Extremely good way to read this book, would recommend.

Reading old PC Gamer issues - before the launch of Quake 3 Id stated it'd be multiplayer (only) game, which was a big controversy & angered folks who liked the Quake SP mode. Multiple issues after included ads like this with fake highlighting as damage control! "No, see, we DO have single player!"

so when the NSFW changes happened at Itch, every panicking user slammed the "PAYOUT NOW" button, which led to a massive backlog requiring tons of hours to work through so everyone could get their $2. and now we're getting constant "itch isn't paying creators!" which creates more waves of it lol
