Hatari! was a fav of mine growing up. It had John Wayne in it which meant it met with my dad's odd preoccupation. I had to watch stuff with male protags rather than just enjoying My Little Pony (g1).
Two of the female characters are shown in a rather (for the time) egalitarian light which was nice.

years ago i wrote a card battler game that uses only poker cards (one deck for each player) in one on one and can be played solo with one deck of cards and 2 six sided dice..

The sooner we shut AI data centers down the sooner we can turn them into walkable mini cities for the unhoused with REALLY good climate control and a super easy transition to 'traditional' housing once they're on their feet.

In my head the valuable artifact you get on New Detroit in the original Privateer was, in fact, a chunk of a bathroom stall wall. The coordinantes on the artifact are just grafitti that reads "For a good time call: <location of the derelict Steltek carrier>".
