Talking about nature, politics, education, photography, writing, ethnobotany, weaving, interdisciplinary things. Just chaos tbh.

This morning I'm picking up a table I bought on ebay so I can get my sewing machines out again! Can't wait. And just bought a new Paper Theory pyjama pattern!

Researching GCSE topics for planning and reddit is full of things like this. I stg I just block uniform enthusiasts now. There's no intelligent conversation to be had. I feel so bad for kids who want to learn.

Skoda enyaq! Four years old. The big battery but otherwise a pretty basic package. Boot big enough to stuff in my very large colleague!

Cute mushrooms captivate many people's attention more than anything. But not us, my friend. We like the rot.

Phlebia radiata, wrinkled crust fungus.

Denmark has been in the news in the UK the past couple days.

Oh this is silly, reply guy. Obviously politicians pursue ideologies, pretty much by definition. You're very aware what I meant.

My autumn field botany sessions for kids have kicked off to a great start, and now I'm preparing for spring nature photography sessions!

This is going to be so fun.

When you hire a tutor for your chils just take a peek first in the Twinkl Private Tutors group and see how they talk about parents and kids. Because a lot of posts are like this 😳

Just led the first troop of this run of my Junior Botanists groups through torrential rain to learn about moss biology, biodiversity, and a bit of slime molds on the way! Some fantastic science and field skills were deployed by all kids #homeeducation

Some moss sporophytes have teeth. Some have two rows of teeth!

I think one of the main issues with the Corbyn cultists - and I don't mean generally progressive or leftist, but the actual cultists - is tha tthey've never encountered any politics or history before. Corbyn didn't invent or even popularise ANY of these principles!!! What on earth!

Perfect illustration of why Labour, party of terminal losers, is now focusing their attacks on people who want good things rather than people who want bad things. Labour don't want good things for our future. They want good things for them.

The sign up sheet responses form for my moss field botany class for kids is unanimous! (I only put one option in the drop down menu)

Leading group field botany sessions for kids over the coming month and digging through my photo archives! Going to use some pictures to illustrate what I'm saying before we embark on our foray.

These sessions will focus on moss/bryophytes and field skills! I'm looking forward to it.

I home educate in the UK so I know an *enormous* number of kids who left school following degrading and abusive toileting situations like the below. Stories like this are very common.
Btw teachers were replying to this thread "tell you're not a teacher without telling me you're not a teacher 🤣".

Not a criticism of the article itself at all but when did we as a society become incapable of saying PROTECT. Why is it always safeguard now?! This euphemistic language hell we're in is eating our braiiiiiins

People who insist on flying long haul w a freaking SUITCASE as one of their carry on are sociopaths, ngl. My kids and I (along with half the plane) are stuck with our modest backpacks at our feet because every overhead hold within 20 rows around us is full. They should have been forced to check it.

Another day another visual from apocalyptic extremist Christians in Canada. They're spreading unchecked while cheery urban liberals completely ignore the depth of this infection.

In the UK home education community our groups are flooded daily with spam from ex teachers trying to hit us up for money.

When they're stopped from spamming it's common to have a tantrum.

People like this are telling them to spam our groups *daily*. Where we're coordinating our kids' education.
