Mount Taylor is a dormant stratovolcano NE of Grants, #NewMexico. It is the highest peak in the San Mateo Mountains & Cibola National Forest.
In Navajo, the peak is Tsoodził, sometimes translated as Turquoise Mountain, one of four sacred mountains marking the boundaries of the the Navajo homeland.
