What was it George Lucas said about stories rhyming?

The Red Lanterns need their own Hard Traveling Heroes story titled Road Rage.

I wish DC and Marvel had done more to advertise the fact that their big Deadpool/Batman crossover wasn't going to have a digital release at launch. I get the reasoning behind it, but it shows ignorance for some of the reasons people read digitally, including not having access to a comic shop.

There is no path forward without hope. Cynicism is only good for wallowing in the misery of the moment, it does nothing to help you advance.

Green Lantern artists need to stop using constructs to make random pop culture references that make no sense coming from these specific characters. Constructs reflect something about the characters who make them. There's no chance that Sinestro has seen Dune or Hal knows what Final Fantasy even is.

Green Lantern New Guardians #24, published in 2013, aka the last time the Guardians were AWESOME.

You know things are bad when Superman doesn't feel like saving a cat from a tree.

This is very good news. Xolo Maridueña brought this character to life perfectly, and I can't wait to see more.

Stories about a superhero protecting their neighborhood can be just as interesting as them saving the universe. Something small can seem like the most important thing in the world if its well written and the audience has an emotional connection to the characters.

Not only was the final issue of Emerald Twilight my first exposure to the work of both Ron Marz and Daryl Banks, this was actually the first issue of Green Lantern starring Hal Jordan that I'd ever read. I used to buy random back issues based solely on the coolness of the cover. No regrets.

I remember when the future version of Static first appeared on JLU back in 2005. It was such a cool surprise, and I loved seeing the person Virgil became after a time skip. And now, twenty years later, this cover for the first issue of Batman/Static: Beyond #1 brings those feelings right back.

Batman/Deadpool #1 having 22 variant covers is ridiculous, but some of them are pretty great.

What are the chances that the DC K.O. hero tournament WON'T end with a big battle between Superman and Batman?

After a sudden surge in popularity, “Red Lanterns: One Angry Guy” became my first video to reach 100K views! Thanks to everyone who watched, I hope you stick around for more!

Well they finally did it. They made a movie that captures the warmth, wonder, and silliness of the Fantastic Four.

I love that the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe is getting some much deserved attention again. With the exception of Nova, this is a pretty surprising lineup of series, so I'll be very curious to see how this all unfolds.

This exact pattern keeps showing up all over the Jeremy Adams run of Green Lantern. It's like a shape that's haunting the story. Always there, hiding in plain sight, in places of power.

I'm glad we live in an age where these kinds of crossovers tend to actually be good, because Fantastic Four x Gargoyles is a great idea that could be a lot of fun.

It seems the next big DC event is going to be a tournament arc where we smash all the action figures together. Could be fun, I just hope it ends up being more than a big dumb spectacle.

Is there any way I could skip the actual Batman/Deadpool pages and just get a collection of the backup stories?
