Aspiring author who likes books, history, and nerd stuff. I've a goal to visit all the public art around Salt Lake City. I likely commit too many brain cells toward anti-squirrel schemes directed at the squirrels marauding my tomatoes every summer.
Have you guys seen next year's National Parks annual pass? Woof. Looks like a dystopian bus pass.

From my walk yesterday. The east column at the entrance of Memory Grove Park, Salt Lake City.

Yesterday's walk took me through Memory Grove Park.

You'll always see happy wet dogs (it's an off-leash park with water features so very popular with the local labs), joggers, and monuments commemorating the casualties of war.

This is a silly realization after so many plant deaths over the years, but instead of watering all the houseplants every time, they're far, far happier if you check the dirt in each plant with your finger and only water the dry ones!

Today's read: Mario Giordano, "Aunt Poldi and the Sicilian Lions" (translated by John Brownjohn). 💙📚

I know diddly squat about cars--especially sporty cars--but I can picture this machine perfectly!
