Like bad as in the technical skill of the artist isn't up to the task of the art (not just low tech skill)? Or bad as in unoriginal, boring, reductive, etc? I think there's value in both, but it's different discussions imo. I generally don't enjoy the 1st, but do enjoy some of the 2nd.
