Did you read the article? Do you know what the cueing looks like? Have you been in an early years classroom?

It was in the official materials. Fast and First does not imply only, if anything using the word first implies there's other strategies later.
I used to be involved in phonic/ reading education in the US, even during the time other strategies became popular. I can recognize 3cue etc when I see it

Hi, I'm on SNAP. Stop speaking for me. The Dems made my life measurably worse by caving, and nade other lives even worse than mine. More people will die because they caved.

No. My kid is in year 5 now in England, and while the primary approach has been phonics there was absolutely a lot of the three cueing done as well as some other poor practices. These are the kids they missed a lot of Reception due to Covid, and a lot of the peers have terrible reading skills.

Which is actually why doing DNA activities in science classes were a short lived thing, too many people finding out truths about themselves. And we can't have people realizing how common certain things are!

Yep, no sports for intersex people.. most of whom would be able to compete just fine without challenge except for new screening rules.
In fact, some may find out they're intersex this way.

Yep, a lot depends on where you live, why you're there, and what state you're registered in.
For us a trip to the embassy would be hours of travel each way, but our state allows us to email it back 🤷🏻♀️. Meanwhile there's a push to end absentee ballots for residents. It makes no sense.

Yep! Our dive out of that was apparently brief. What's old is new again.

No, just a third. More than that if you count ripping out all the historical gardens.

What is vegan fur? Plastic?
How about people just don't do fur*, real or otherwise?
(*Exception for actual cultural/tradition use.. which is not for sale at a fur shop anyway)

Yep. All signs point to the cheapening of human life and further worship of the bottom line and profits for shareholders. Part and parcel with widening income and wealth inequality.

If we're making bets, I'll go with TB or with amassed sequelae of immune deficiency from measles and repeated Covid infections. Or all those things together.

You must have been in a different part of UK than I live in now 😬
Only good bread is at the bakery run by a German guy. Or I make it at home.. too many places are relying on dough conditioners and chorleywood process to crank out loaves too quickly.

This aged poorly. Neither starving people nor access to healthcare trumped 'oh noes, maybe I can't fly for Thanksgiving' apparently. So disappointing.

Not to mention her own country would not be interested in supporting a trans athlete. She's a woman, and always has been.

A lot of those ballots go in a diplomatic pouch at least back to the US.
But yes, for those of us overseas still required to mail ballots it's going to make it even more likely it's never counted. But they're also exploring things like requiring in person renewal, too.

Good point. It was reposted with commentary today, and I didn't pay attention to when the dates jumped. Apologies.

There's lead time on major shelf stable imports. There's pasta from Italy now, but if the companies decide it isn't worth the tariff headache and price uncertainty then what's here will sell through and that's it
Xmas toys are ordered in, like, May. How are those shelves?

Each new law against trans people in society will just become the platform for the next law restricting someone else. Possibly you. Dont fall for it.
