On December 6th children in Germany put their boots in front of the house door and they'll get gifts from St Nikolaus. It used to be sweets & fruit & nuts. No idea how it works now. This song always cheers me up. I saw a newer version by Dionne Bromfield (she did one life with Amy Winehouse) but I prefer the original by the Shirelles Beginning as New Jersey schoolgirls, The Shirelles quickly became rock & roll's first female supergroup and were the inspiration for a legion of female groups that followed. They are universally credited as the originators of the Girl Group Sound that is so beloved by the Baby Boomer generation.

I just signed into the browser version of WP and found 45! Ping-backs in my pending folder, that didn't show up in the Jetpack app 🤬 (insert curse word of your choice). My deepest appologies to all the ones I missed. They go back to September! I will have to check with the browser version more often, I suspect. Or just use that one....
