My dad served in the Army during WWII. I am an Air Force vet, also proud to be a lifelong Democrat. My heart aches for how my dad and his generation would react to a new growth of Nazi fascism in his own country. We need to learn from the past.
I lost two of the best cats a year ago, within three months. I cried harder when they passed than I did when my mom passed. No, it never gets easier.
