it's underrated for its time. 😔

idk maybe im crazy thats just my take if anyone cares. all in all it was a pretty good season and im hoping we can see more of these characters sooner rather than later since there will be no s3.

again, s2 was good and although i have a few gripes, my biggest is just the portrayal of his character which felt as if it was being pushed in a direction that would be more appealing to a certain demographic.

but i can hardly remember a moment in s2 where they even interact? vij was present but not necessarily needed unless it was very specific instances. in s1 he was needed for the plot and added more to the scenes. he was just far less charming and more watered down.

in s1 the whole appeal of his character is that he's this psychotic, unhinged individual who comes across neurodivergent and is charmingly funny. but he was also sarcastic, petty at times, and empathetic. a lot of his character moments happening around chris specifically.

i feel like vigilante was flanderized quite a bit and his presence in this situation added really nothing of note. he was there to fill this semi-comedic void while also demonstrating the highs and lows of his personality without his usual charm.

their dynamics with eachother,,

Petra Yoon - Prop-maker and local eccentric. Petra was a late comer to the club and still tends to be the odd one out. Her introduction to the club was through her rivalry with Willow as the two constantly try and one up each other.

Ana D. Wice - Eltingville’s own dare devil, Ann is an adrenaline junky through and through. She has both a laid back ‘dude-bro’ attitude and a hyper-activate demeanor. Her role in the club is usually to work lights and sound which she does so with extreme care.

Janet Herrara - Second in command and first to be at Willow’s side. The two are childhood best friends who know how to deal with the best and worst in one another. Anointed as the EPC’s director, Janice is the true theater major out of the two.

Willow Bennett - A high - end material girl and the leader of the Eltingville Play Committee; a group of girls who dedicate their time to the school’s theater club even if only one of them, being Willow, aims to use it for its original purpose. In her mind, she is the star of the show.
