Anyway, figured I'd share my thoughts as I don't see many ppl discuss this part of unmasking. Out of all the NDs I know locally, I seem to be the only one with the eye contact trait. Wonder if anyone else out there has the same dilemma? #actuallyautistic

That it is SO hard to socialise when you no longer use masking as a blueprint. How do I be friends with someone without slipping into that habit? It's like learning from scratch. I keep finding myself forcing eye contact even with an autistic person, because I don't know how to say I don't like it.
