WTF? None of this is normal!

Just bring me sourdough toast and coffee.

No DMs. Progressive. Do not obey in advance. Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

This is why I can’t stand all the pie-in-the-sky fantasies about what a progressive president will do with unitary executive power.

The next Democratic president won’t be able to take a dump without the Supreme Court upholding a ruling by a Texas judge that presidents are no longer allowed to shit.

It’s been clear for a while that corporate media is nothing but stenographers for fascists, racists and Nazis.

There’s zero pushback when women are called piggy, no pushback against racist rants that endanger people, no pushback against his cognitive impairments, etc.

Call it what it is.

Senator Barbara Boxer saw the writing on the wall. I think trump may not only be in the Epstein Files but his modeling agency could be a key component of the Epstein operation. At the very least the trump modeling agency was trafficking girls.

“I am extremely concerned by the claims levied against Trump Model Management and ask that you open an investigation into the company's employment practices,” Boxer wrote in her letter.

O'Hara: "There's folks that are masked, they may be kidnapping people. We have had those reports. The community should know that if you see something like that, you should call 911. Let's not forget -- we very recently had tragedy in this state by someone who was purporting to be law enforcement."

TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.

Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.

In Trump‘s first term he pardoned 17 high profile drug dealers.

In his second term he has pardoned three very high profile drug dealers, listed below.

How’s everyone knows eliminating drug dealer is high on Trump’s priority list. That is as long as they have the money to pay for a pardon.

The biggest divide is not between “right” and “left." It’s between democracy and oligarchy. The billionaires who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us. They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see that they have all the wealth and power.

NEW: ICE has finally released post-shutdown detention data. The latest data reveals that a full 40%(!) of people arrested in the interior and held in ICE detention have no criminal record; no criminal charges or prior convictions. That is up from just 4% when Trump took office.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Welcome to journalism in 2025, when ethics are not longer required and the whole thing feels like a high school lunchroom, complete with the elitist “You can’t sit with us!” nepo babies at legacy outlets who all write stories about how great their pals are.

God, it’s so depressing.

How many conservatives are wondering who and what they voted for?

-50-year mortgage
-15 year car loans
-skyrocketing utility costs
-rising food prices
-inflation rising each month
-unemployment at a record high
-imminent war

Who could possibly still support this?
