Ha ha! That might be my next course of action! Just doing some cover for tomorrow and have had some chicken soup. Feeling a bit better now but still with a temperature. Hope you’re well and goodnight!

I’ve no idea who the two women were apart from volunteers from Round Table. Just said to them that I was going back to bed. Not moody or anything, but it just scared me.

Yeah, I didn’t know him for too long and it’s over 20 years ago now but he was lovely. He always seemed very humble and down to earth. Very sad.

Absolutely! It was only when a friend of mine when I was at Slip ‘n’ Slide told my of his history did I really begin to understand a little more about him as he was very humble. To me he was this nice bloke who came into my work who was really into music. So sad.

No!! Just saw this on another post and another mutual acquaintance Jason. I met him when I was working in HMV and he’d pop by for records, went to his studio a couple of times and was an all round lovely bloke. Knew a lot of stuff and people and was very funny. Such sad news.

Sorry, what?! No!
I think we had a similar conversation on the other place about a year ago… as in was it the same guy I knew in the late 90s in London. This is really sad news. So sorry to hear it Kerry.

The guy I knew was Matthew Steer and his brother is Bill Steer. I remember that Matthew was the younger brother but always had a supply of Carcass t shirts.

So sorry to hear your sad news. And you are so, so right. I remember a few years ago having to comfort a pupil whose mum was in a hospice… and only slightly older than me. Can’t imagine what it must be like for your friend and their family and friends. X

I knew a lad at Uni back in the early 90s whose brother was in Carcass. They were one of the loudest things I’d ever heard / seen.

I trust there is a John Rocca section?

Did he used to play with one solitary dart too?

Didn’t Brian Eno do the Windows one when you turn the computer on?

2. Club Tropicana
3. Bad Boys
4. Fastlove
5. Amazing

Love that description… and ‘engine room record’!

Same here, it’s the swing in the drums, the tough bass lines, vocal cut ups and slightly techno edge that always got me. Very talented production team.
