Ive never assisted someone searching for a C140, but here we are. Found this 65k mile 97 S500 coupe in a private collection in NY. I’ve got a few things to repair this week before the new owner picks it up Monday. I wish I could keep this one, but it’s too $$$$$ for me. 😅

I’ve had my 1980 240D 4 speed (the one with the red fender) for about 25 years. It’s been retired since the driver seat fell through the floorboard 10 years ago.

1920’s Noma C7 light string with LED bulbs to make them slightly less dangerous. 😅
I used to collect vintage Xmas lights when I was a kid/teen, but after so many moves they’ve mostly disappeared over the years.

I can’t believe I’ve had these wheels for nearly a year and this is the first time I’ve test fitted them. No MB lug is the correct length so gotta order custom lugs and then a set of tires as a Xmas present to myself. Now all I need is a Lorinser body kit and paint job.

My boiler is kinda disappointing. I had to replace the original a few years ago when it cracked and started leaking water on the burner.
If you ever find yourself in southern Va., you can come by and inspect it. You can even play in the coal pile. XD
