My favorite movie night gob stuffer — 2 T popping corn air microwaved in silicone thingie, pinch salt, 1/2 ounce nuts, 4 crumbled kettle chips, 1 T each shredded coconut and m&ms. About 350 calories, 8 g protein. The toppings filter down as you grab handfuls, and they end up distributing perfectly.

A lot of people were really upset last summer when they mistook sculptor Paul Jouvre's 1937 World Expo work "Taureau et Daim" for a literal golden calf. I wonder how they feel about old King Nebuchadnezzar here.

Side note: The Kens' casting was perfection. Each one brings an important aspect. Allan is the only grown ass man. And Ryan Gosling...there are layers to his performance that he could only have portrayed if he really understood the role. Excellent. (9/)

It's more complicated than that of course. Many of us have stages along our paths in life where we have genuine insight, but without a grounding in compassion, it hurts us...and others. (8/)
