Today has gotten better. She no longer needs supplementary oxygen, has the best pain killers and she's coping well over all. The Lasix did their job and she has expelled most of her extra water, soooo...

To combat that, they gave her fluids. The fluids have caused a pulmonary edema on the left side. She's been struggling to breathe most of the night. Now they're giving her Lasix medications to push the water off her lungs. It's helping but not completely.

Her blood went acidoti. Her lactate was 5.8, it should have been under 2. Which is why they thought they might have to send her to the ICU.

During the surgery, her blood pressure tanked. They had to give her epi, pressors and other medications to keep her going. When she came out of the surgery, she had big trembles and shakes.

We made it up to our regular ward. She's doing better but not out of the woods. Time to sleep. Finally.

She is having more complications than expected. We are waiting to see her next blood levels in 10min and then they will tell us if she is going back to where we started or if she will be sent to the ICU.

She was supposed to be finished her surgery around Noon so it's been a long long day of waiting. I just wanna know Momo is ok, why did it take so much longer.

News is she's still in the OR but doing good. We are coming up with a plan to manage her post op care but we are going to be in the hospital for a while. ENT is handing us over to Endo and CTU for our post op care

I'm not sure. We are doing a hospital spa day here to try and relax after the disappointment. Right now she got her IV out and is having a soak
