Visited U. of Arizona’s Biosphere 2 and learned about all the research possibilities it provides! We can do long term controlled experiments in multiple biomes, possibly including bringing our beloved Upside-down Jellies to their coral reef and mangrove habitats for manipulation!! 🌎🧪🪼🪸🦠🧬

7vortex is based on ecological interactions: to connect bubbles, weights that can be assigned by the user. The platform is quite intuitive, but there are several tutorials. Contact @vfi.bsky.social‬ , who developed the platform for more details. He is extremely helpful! Great working with you!

My Coastal Biology students used www.7vortex.com, a knowledge ecosystem creation tool based on nature principles. I encourage you to explore the Lucky7 assignments to see how much we all learned! More importantly, despite discussing the sad state of marine ecosystems, all students felt hopeful! 🧪🌎🪸🌊

I tried several innovative and traditional assignments in my Coastal Biology class. Students overwhelmingly preferred the Unessay. We all learned a lot from each other while having a ton of fun. I highly recommend this pedagogical tool. This is the second year I use it! Happy to share insight! 🧪🌊🌎🪸

Final dispatch of wonderful Unessays from my Coastal Biology class ranging from the effect of the drug trade on marine food webs to coral and sea grass ecology. Students used jewelry making, sculpture and mixed media! Thank you all for such a fun experience! I learned more than if I had lectured!🧪🌊🪸

My Coastal Biology students started presenting their Unessays this week. Projects have been so creative and ranged from children's books to dioramas on marine conservation and other environmental issues. They were all great! I only managed to get pictures of a few!🧪🌎🌊🪸🦑🐋🦈
