I don't love it but if me having to pay $6,000 more next year for health insurance means that Schumer goes, I'll take it.

HEY! Did you vote for the Mayor of Seattle and think that you're DONE with this election already? Well, I'm here to tell you you're NOT! There's 1,794 ballots from Seattle alone that aren't counted due to signature issues! But good news: you can check and FIX IT if it's you!

This is an all hands on deck moment to save health care.

If you got a notice this month that your health insurance premium is going up by $500 or maybe even $1,000, send me your story: www.warren.senate.gov/health-care-...

We are a family of three and are currently on a bronze-level healthcare plan purchased from the WA state marketplace. If we want to get the same plan next year it will cost us $500 more...

...per month.

Anecdotally, I felt this yesterday. There were three protests in Tacoma alone. I went to what I figured would be the smallest one and it was packed along the street, a much higher turnout than I expected. bsky.app/profile/chri...
This is serious, rigorous analysis and it should change the way the media has been covering these protests. These were, in the aggregate, *massive.*
Based on crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don't have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6 million people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday. That's nearly 2% of the U.S. pop!

Mobilized anti-Trump resistance is exceeding 2017 levels

Great crowd at the Point Defiance #nokings protest in Tacoma. Lots of cars driving by and honking and people cheering. Street was lined for several blocks with a big crowd by the park roundabout. It felt good to be a part of it. Seems the downtown crowd was even bigger. Gave away some stickers!

Good stuff:

“Do we go into social media and post, ‘Oh my goodness, I can't believe this awful thing happened?’ Or do we post, ‘People are being really brave in the face of resistance, we're going to keep doing it?’

Those are different tones, ways of analyzing the same moment. We have a choice.”
