I've been playing DnD again, this is my girl Hazel! Firbolg druid/fighter, absolute sweetie, basically Caduceus Clay crossed with Milly Thompson. I based her design off a highland cow (I know she looks like a minotaur, shh) and played with watercolours / coloured pencils! #art, #dnd #watercolours

I've also been working on a DOG ZINE, because I am a parody of myself! Once DCAF's over, I'll upload both of these (plus an eventual third zine that won't be done in time) to kofi or itchio or something. #art

I have been drawing a lot more, I just haven't been posting much! I'm getting some zines ready for DCAF (come check it out in August if you're in Dartmouth!), and one of them is, predictably, about mice. I'm also thinking about colouring these guys and making them into stickers. #art

the Dog Man movie did something to my brain, I went in expecting a cute movie about a frankenstein dog, and got clotheslined by a movie about single parenthood, co-parenting, and realizing that you don't have to turn into your jerk dad. Then I read the comics, and got clotheslined even more! #art

Ok I’m starting to fall asleep, but I will say that the IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comics are very good, and Tails went Yeehaw Mode, which makes this comic of the year in my books

Anyway, TLDR, it’s fun, please read if you like insanity, cool ladies and assassin clans themed like Pokémon gyms. Also, a dude gets annihilated by a french horn and it made me laugh SO MUCH

It’s completely straight-faced despite the insanity, and surprisingly wholesome. The story is more focused on him making friends rather than jumping straight into marriage, and the women are all fun, fleshed out characters in their own right.

First up: Marriage Toxin! By far the most batshit insane thing I’ve read this year. Poison-themed assassin/bodyguard with no social skills tries dating, each lady he meets is more delightfully bonkers than the last, from the shark-riding art thief to the woman who controls hamsters like a Jojo stand

I need you guys to know that in the Squirrel Girl comics, Kraven has a sweet ride called the KRA-VAN! This would've improved the movie tenfold!
