Hi! Did you know that you aren’t pronouncing axolotl correctly?

Suppression of indigenous languages by the Spanish is one of the Four Wounds of Colonization. This is a small subversion of colonial power you can use!

Axolotl is a Nahuatl word, and it sounds like this:

Old Soviet joke for today:

A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves.

After a long time of this, the owner says “Can I help you find something?”

“I’m looking for the obituaries.”

“The obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.”

“Not the one I’m looking for.”

So, interesting things about Jonathan Joss (the second John Redcorn on King of the Hill) being murdered include the number of people who HAVE to make a joke and how hard all the press is going in not addressing that it was a homophobic hate crime.

Any voice actors out there that can do a David Attenborough style documentary voice (doesn't have to be a parody of him, just same vibes) and is free to do some recording today?

Maybe a little bit of a cryptkeeper vibe would work too.

Ditch Audible, friends. Amazon doesn't need more money. Use Libby (supports public libraries) or Libro FM (supports indie bookstores) instead.
Hate this a lot. Value human creators, writers, artists, narrators, editors -- everyone in the chain of making a book and putting it out into the world should be a human being. Humans make art for humans.

P.S. fuck AI -- eat shit, artbarf robots

If you proceed with canceling Microsoft Office, you'll get a "wait wait don't go!" screen where they suddenly offer you "Microsoft 365 Personal Classic" -- which *doesn't include AI* and is actually cheaper! Weird workaround.
