I adopted two kitties this weekend from PAWS. Currently named Chester and Peanut, but I am waiting for them to tell me their real names. The little one has moved right in and marked me from head to foot, while the other one is still hiding under the bed.

Today, I was on a mission to see the Big Sur part of the PCH.

I stopped in Bodega, CA, yesterday to see the schoolhouse from "The Birds." And also drove across the Golden Gate Bridge. I hit three rush hours and didn't get to drive the test of the PCH. I'll do that going home.

So, I bought this yesterday. A 2025 Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid. It's glittery blue, but looks purple in the sunlight. I look forward to saving on gas again, but it will take a while to adjust to automatic transmission.

I just returned from a week-long writer's conference in Port Townsend. It was so inspiring! I am ready to tackle the script.
