A bit of color visible in photographs. The streak from lower left to upper right is a contrail. Nothing like last night, but the stars are brilliant and sharp here in MN. Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow morning. I would be setting up the telescope for sure!

Last pic of the night. Seems like things are calming down. The big read outburst has settled down into a sinuous and twisting band running east to west across the entire sky. Still naked eye visible.
