Retired SPED teacher. I love living in Minnesota and my grandkids are my favorite people.
That is a ridiculous amount. If they collected this while in recess for 50 days, that is $3950. More than minimum wage at $9.87 an hour or $26 per meal a day.
It’s an abomination of our tax dollars. Nobody wants this.

JD Vance deserves this
Trump on Tim Walz: "I think the man is a grossly incompetent man. I thought that from the day I watched JD destroy him in the debate. I was saying, 'Who's more incompetent, that man or my man?' I had a man and he had a man. They were both incompetent."

Aren’t they the same thing at that point?
NEW info on shipwreck attack. It gets worse.

The 2 survivors climbed atop wreckage and waved to overhead.

"Some of the people viewing the video thought ... could have been an attempt to surrender"

Others "said the most logical explanation was ... signaling for a rescue."

Can the senate do nothing to stop this? He acts like he has no power. If RFK jr is a threat to our kid’s health, he should move to get rid of him. Telling us what we already know and have no power to change is worthless.
“Today is a defining moment for our country,” Michael Osterholm, a public health expert at the University of Minnesota, said. “We can no longer trust federal health authorities when it comes to vaccines.” In the New York Times. A very sad moment for our country, indeed.
Sen. Bill Cassidy, who cast the deciding vote to confirm RFK Jr. as health and human services secretary, disapproves of what Kennedy's handpicked panel has done to limit access to hep B vaccines.

Why is he even fundraising at all?
Trump sent a fundraising email ahead of the holidays framing his 2024 assassination attempt as a divine intervention and casting his campaign as a mission commanded by God. Trump, once again, ties his appeal for campaign cash with his desire to get to heaven.
A sucker is born every minute.

Seriously stop trying to parent your constituents and worry about your own decisions, one of which has turned to be really bad.

Servicewomen give so much and risk everything to protect our rights and freedoms.

The least we can do is give them access to health care—including IVF.

The speaker is working behind closed doors to remove a provision from the National Defense Authorization Act that would mandate health coverage for in vitro fertilization for all active duty military.

People are expendable to this admin. The rest of the military will see that happen and then what?
I did not know the warrior ethos meant hiding behind a subordinate
Breaking news: Government officials said they are increasingly concerned that the Trump administration intends to scapegoat the military officer who directed U.S. forces to kill survivors of a targeted strike on suspected drug smugglers in Latin America.

Since I haven’t seen anyone mention this: When the U.S. commits war crimes it puts our troops in danger also, as it gives a green light to other countries that they can do the same to us

Nurses are being really vocal about this and I hope it gets a lot more attention because it is going to be consequential. It affects a lot of other professions as well including those in education, social work, PT, OT and a bunch of others.
By limiting nurses’ access to the educational pathways required for advancement, the Trump administration is only deepening the crisis driving nurses from the bedside. This is a direct attack on nursing — and when you take on one of us, you take on all of us.

IDK what he is planning but if it’s a maintenance issue, isn’t the fact that they fired a ton of people that did that upkeep maybe part of the problem?
How many of our national monuments and historical locations will we, the people, allow this pitiful excuse for a man to destroy before we say enough???? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is next on Trump's destruction list.

"Study it hard because you won’t be seeing this Biden filth and incompetence much longer!"

Hey MAGA, how many of you think the reflecting pool is Biden's work?

I am so goddamn sick of this thug.
