Cat Yoga!

I've enjoyed seeing photos & posts full of cheerful Thanksgiving greetings & food from friends & family. It's nice to see something positive and comforting in these scarey times. There's important work to be done, but do the things that bring you happiness, too. 💙

My homemade turkey gravy was tasty! I put my turkey on top of a thick bed of seasoned sliced onions with butter & chicken broth before roasting. I remove the bird, then use my emulsifier to make everything smooth & stir in a bit of a corn starch/water slurry. Gently heat it on the stove & yum!

Rainy day here in Minnesota. It's hard to get motivated when there's a sleepy, snuggly cat on me! Her name is Bonnie.

FYI, my profile banner photo is of our favorite hotel in Duluth, Minnesota called the South Pier Inn. It's next to the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge, in Canal Park, & we enjoy driving up from the Twin Cities for vacations. It's cool to watch the giant ships and sailboats go by!
