Essentially they are doing the same to the CDFI Fund. All staff will be gone by mid December. And the Fund was found to be established by statute this past Spring - it was the subject of an EO. I suppose one could argue it exists - just not funded or staffed? Sad times.

Ate there about a month ago with kid number 4. The new owners worked with my kids at the pot factory.

I find your pull quote confusing? Gil has reported on the dangers of tech oligarchs for years. He might described the "Nerd Reich" as holding that belief?

My initial reaction to stuff like this is always WTH? Then after a pause my second reaction is - this lands with people I know.

Got mine last week in deep red AR! Not a problem. Under 65. No out of pocket and no prescription required. Don't know if that typical.

Got mine in Fayetteville, AR at the CVS - signed up online - under 65, no questions, no problem. Got my flu, rsv and pneumonia - because I could, and I don't trust that it will stay this easy.

I stream Rick Steves with my 90 year old mother. We watch Nova and Nature when it airs, but if that is gone I am sure we will pepper those into our PBS streaming habits. Big value.
