Celebrated my birthday alone today (hubby is still in Arkansas for 7 more days). At least it was a good day at work and I had some amazing Chinese food for dinner. I still have like 3 meals left of it too. Well worth the $$.

I’ve been back in Arkansas for a week and I’m already over it. My mil can’t stand the fact that her grown up sons have different opinions, beliefs, views on religion, drink beer, etc. if it isn’t her vice, it’s not ok. I just don’t get it.

I go back to Arkansas in 5 days. The weather in Maine has been about the same as down there, yet we have had heat warnings. Funny how that works. Been super awesome to see my family for once though. ❤️

My favorite brother (I know you aren’t supposed to have favorites, but I had 7 siblings, it happens) is gone. He has brain damage and his heart stopped. Life support until they can donate his organs. I’m not ok. Second brother to pass in 9 months.

Rj has hip replacement surgery tomorrow. I’m hoping it provides him with some relief. He still has to have the other one done and they are saying 6 months to a year. I don’t want him being in this excruciating pain for another year.

I want to go hiking, but have no friends here to hike with. Rj can’t hike due to his hips and I don’t want to spend any more time with his mom than I have to. Plus, the Ozark Devil or whatever they want to call him, is still on the run.
